What is the must-see of Barcelona? You'll most likely be recommended one of Antoni Gaudi's creation. Top of the list should be the unfinished La Sagrada Familia despite having been in construction for 100 years. Gaudi didnt finish the project, yet he had the Midas touch that defined the cathedral. Some other prominent works of his include Park Guell, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera featured below.

Forgive me football fans. Barcelona is also the home to famous FC Barcelona, of which Ronaldinho belongs. How could I forget that. There was to be a match between FC Barcelona and Sevilla the evening of the day we visited, so security was really tight. Each car plate was checked against a list. Since we were on foot, we could just ran in when the football team coach arrived (we actually did!) . Didnt watch the match though, we would be at the Girona airport waiting for our flight back to London.
